AJA U-TAP SDI:llä kytket SDI-lähdöllä varustetun kameran, videomikserin tai muun lähteen tietokoneen USB 3–väylään 1080P60–laatuun (3G-SDI) asti. Laite on UAC​/​UVC–yhteensopiva Windows–, macOS– ja Linux–käyttöjärjestelmissä, eikä vaadi kolmannen osapuolen ajurien asentamista. Laite ottaa virran tietokoneen USB-väylästä ja sitä voi käyttää myös USB 2–väylässä, jolloin tuettu resoluutio ja frame rate on rajoitettava alemmiksi. Laitteen mukana seuraa USB3-B-A–kaapeli, tarvittaessa USB-A-C–muunnin, sekä SDI-kaapeli. Laitteessa on myös SDI-läpivienti. Laite on puolikovassa laukussa. The AJA U-TAP SDI is used to capture a SDI source up to 1080P60 (3G-SDI) to a USB 3–bus. The device is UAC​/​UVC compatible in Windows, macOS and Linux operating systems and doesn't require installation of third party drivers. It is bus-powered (4W) and can also be used in a USB 2–bus, albeit at lower resolutions and frame rates. The devices comes with a USB3 B-A cable, an SDI cable, and (if necessary) a USB3 A-C converter. The device comes in a semi-hard case and it also has an SDI loopback connector.
